Paul King , the director behind the Paddington franchise and WB’s Willy Wonka movie, has teamed up with Disney Studios to develop a live-action Prince Charming movie. King is also working on the script with writers Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker.

A movie about the classic fairytale character Prince Charming is in the works at Disney, with Paul King as director writing the movie with two other cowriters.

If you had to choose one word to describe the films of Paddington and Wonka director Paul King, you could do a lot worse than to go with “charming.” Maybe that’s the idea behind his next project, a live-action movie based on the character of Prince Charming.
