Reliance Industries experienced a 5% YoY drop in Q2FY25 net profit to ₹16,563 crore, largely from its O2C segment. Yet, digital services and upstream business growth signal resilience, leading brokerages to uphold positive ratings and price targets amid ongoing challenges.

India's Reliance Industries reported a drop in second-quarter profit on Monday, as its oil-to-chemicals (O2C) business grappled with lower margins, more than offsetting a boost from price increases for the company's mobile services.

Reliance Jio Infocomm has posted a whopping 23.4% jump in its consolidated net profit for the September quarter, hitting ₹6,539 crore. That's a huge jump from the ₹5,299 crore it posted in the same quarter last year.

Reliance Retail Ltd's revenue from operations fell 3.5% year-on-year to ₹66,502 crore for the quarter ended September impacted by weak fashion and lifestyle demand, continued focus on streamlining of operations and calibrated approach to business-to-business to improve margins, the company says.
