Change could be coming to the Chicago White Sox after a report by The Athletic stated longtime owner Jerry Reinsdorf is in “active discussions” to sell the team. It’s not the first time — and certainly won’t be the last — that Reinsdorf has been embroiled in reports and rumors of interest in either offloading or moving the White Sox.

A new report suggests the White Sox are narrowing down their managerial search, with at least three names confirmed among the finalists.

On Wednesday, it was made public that Chicago White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf is considering selling his majority stake in the organization. From an on-field standpoint, it was also revealed that there are two new names in the mix for the White Sox managerial vacancy.

While not the biggest piece of White Sox-related news on Wednesday, the club’s more immediate piece of short-term business is finding a new manager.
